Whirlwind
I was standing outside with my six-month-old daughter, getting ready to take a picture, when suddenly I felt the presence of God. I knew He was there with us. Then it happened.
A huge gust of wind came and formed into a whirlwind on the ground. The whirlwind came straight toward us, blew over us, and continued past us until it was gone. My mind was blown. It was a sign and a wonder. I had never experienced God do something like that for me before. I was in complete shock and awe.
After it happened, I immediately ran to tell my husband. I needed him to hear what had just transpired. After telling him, I realized I didn’t understand why God had done it. So I went to the Lord and asked Him. I wanted to hear directly from God what it meant.
As I listened and sought Him, He revealed it to me.
The Bible says in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
And in Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
God is all about relationship with us. He wants us to spend time with Him in prayer, praise, worship, and reading His Word. I sought the Lord, and He answered me. Psalm 34:4.
God revealed to me that the whirlwind represented His presence. He was showing me that His presence was with me. The whirlwind came suddenly and quickly—those were the words He gave me.
God said that His promises are going to come to pass suddenly and quickly, just like a whirlwind. His promises are yes and amen. God is faithful to his promises.
Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us hold resolutely to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.”
Numbers 23:19 God is not a man that He should lie.
God promises us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
He promises life and life more abundantly (John 10:10).
He promises peaceful dwelling places (Isaiah 32:18).
He promises to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).
He promises provision and blessing (Malachi 3:10, Philippians 4:19).
God has many promises for us if we will come into agreement and alignment with Him. Build your faith. Trust Him as your Heavenly Father who loves you. He already proved His love by sending His one and only Son to die for you.
2026 is a year it happens like a whirlwind.
Things will happen quickly and suddenly.
Suddenly you are blessed.
Suddenly breakthrough comes.
Suddenly the phone rings with the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
Doors are opening, according to Isaiah 22:22.
God is saying this is a new season, and we must dress, talk, and move like where He is taking us. He is taking us higher—just like the whirlwind went up and past us before it dissipated.
We are a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), so it’s time to start carrying ourselves that way. Dress like you’re going to the King’s palace. Clean yourself up, put on your best, and carry yourself well.
Just like Genesis 41:14, when Joseph was getting ready to go to the palace to meet Pharaoh. He didn’t go as he was. He could have went how he already was, but he knew better. He had to look like where God was getting ready to take him - destiny.
2026 is the year everything changes.
Bring your vision to the Lord. Write it out and make it plain. Pray over it and trust Him. God will bring you into alignment and completion.
Philippians 1:6 says that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion. You are His work, and He will bring you into fulfillment. God is a good God and he loves you. He wants to bless his people.
The Lord will vindicate you (Psalm 37:6). That is another promise.
You have the victory.
This year—2026—is YOUR year.
Come into agreement that every promise God has for you will come into fruition this year. When it does, Jesus gets all the glory, honor, and praise.
Hallelujah.
